Dear Parents, Faculty, Students and Guests,

We are excited about the work that has been happening at Reavis Math and Science School. Our intent in the creation of this website is to provide you with a resource for being a successful member and contributor to the Reavis Community.

The Reavis School is continually moving in the right direction. Once again our ISAT test scores have increased. We now have more than 48 percent of our students meeting and exceeding within their grade levels. In 2004, 23.3% of our students scored on grade level or better on the ISAT test. Last year 45.5% of our students scored on grade level or better. This year our scores increased modestly to 48.9%. This means that we have more than doubled the amount of students that are scoring on grade level or better since 2004! There are so many reasons why this has happened. Some of them include:

• The faculty works hard and is very committed to serving our students.
• We have brought in better curriculum for our students.
• Students are increasingly more engaged and taking responsibility for their learning.
• We have seen a significant drop in major student incidents that disrupt the educational process.
• Student suspensions have dropped significantly and as a result students are spending more time in school.

We recognize that there is still a lot more work to be done here at the school. We are confident that our school is heading in the right direction and will achieve even more success for all students. We invite the support of parents, community members and organizations in our efforts to improve the educational experience of Reavis Students.
